using the adapter.
During usage, the probe slightly heats up. Warming is normal behavior and not a sign
of malfunction.

Z1M works only with oscilloscopes that have only inputs with 50 Ω input
impedance. Oscilloscopes that already support a 1 MΩ input impedance do not support
the adapter.
3.1
Connecting the Adapter to the Oscilloscope
► Connect the adapter (1) to the Rohde
&
Schwarz probe interface of the oscillo-
scope (2).
The adapter snaps in when connected properly to the port.

► To disconnect the adapter:
a) Press and hold the release button (3).
b) Pull the adapter away from the oscilloscope.
