Product description
Components of the DIB-500 R4.1
3.2.3.4
V
AC
voltage supply unit (optional) including AC voltage supply module(s)
The voltage supply unit is a hardware component. Depending on the type of voltage
supply selected (V
AC
/V
DC
), it is made up of different components, refer to Table 3.12 on
page 37.
For a V
DC
voltage supply, the voltage supply connection is implemented via the terminal
area, refer to section 3.2.4 on page 38.
Figure 3.11 shows an example of the front view of an AC voltage supply unit, made up
of two AC voltage supply modules. The following table describes the components in
greater detail.
Figure 3.11 Front view of the voltage supply unit
The AC voltage supply modules supply the mounting frame, which, in turn, supplies the
system controller with voltage.
The AC voltage supply module is a hardware subcomponent of the voltage supply unit.
The installed network / hardware components are supplied with voltage via the AC volt-
age supply module. Depending on the voltage supply and the number of installed TIB
modules, up to two AC voltage supply modules are installed per equipment rack.
Table 3.13 describes the number of AC voltage supply modules depending on the volt-
age supply.
