Figure 63 - Replace UPS for H-Frame and B-Frame Drives
6. Install the replacement UPS, and reconnect input and output cables.
7. Turn the CB1 circuit break and press the ON button on the UPS.
Wait for 2...3 seconds.
8. Using a voltmeter, check the input voltage on the line side of the CB2
circuit breaker.
The input voltage must be 220V AC.
9. Turn on CB2, CB3, CB5, and CB6 circuit breakers to complete the
procedure.
Inspect PLC
1. Verify that all input and output terminal connections are secure.

Inspect/Replace Control Unit or Control Boards
•
Verify that the terminal connections on the bottom of the Control Unit
are secure and are free of dirt, dust, or foreign material. Clean with an
anti-static cloth.
•
Verify that the fiber-optic cables are properly connected to the A/B/C

ATTENTION:
During removal and installation of the UPS, do not omit the UPS
ground wire.
ATTENTION:
Always perform Power Lockout procedure before servicing
equipment. Verify with a hot stick or appropriate voltage measuring device
that all circuits are voltage free. Failure to do so may result in severe burns,
injury, or death.
