Configure the 1769-ASCII Module

Chapter 2

Configure the Module for Use
with a MicroLogix Controller

To work with the MicroLogix controller, follow these instructions to prepare the
1769-ASCII module.

Open your project.

Right-click the 1769-ASCII module and choose Properties.

Make sure Series and Revision match with the hardware.

Review and make sure you have the correct module.

Type a name.

Type a Description.

Review the Module Definition area and make sure the information is
correct.

Click Change on the General tab to modify the module definition
parameters.
