1.4.
Floor.
This fireplace must be assembled on floors which provide an adequate bearing
capacity. If the resistance is not enough, a panel of balance would be required to distribute the
whole weight of the fireplace.
1.5.
Foot platform
(4).
In both models, the foot can be levelled according the wished height and
extended up to 220 mm. It is also possible to level it through the four screws located on the
foot.
1.6.
Smokestack
(5)
.
A smoke connector from the adaptor is needed to the smoke outlet. This
outlet must be in good conditions and certified by a professional. It can also be possible to
lengthen the pipe to the outdoors providing, in any case, the exact diameter for the fireplace.
The minimum length of the pipe must not be shorter than 4000 mm. The installation procedures
must be done under the regulations. It is not possible to use this pipe for any other purpose.
1.7. Insulating procedures
(6).
The fireplace must be insulated with insulation panels (Type
A-1, EN13501-1) on it side, back and upper part. Open lids, stick the material and close them
again.
1.8.
Security distances.
1.8.1.Inner fireplace room security distance
. The home should not move closer to less than
20 mm the sides and 10 mm the front of the camera to protect the door. In the event that the
floor and interior walls containing flammable items, is required to isolate the device and remove
at least 200 mm of these elements.
1.8.2.Outer fireplace security distances
. Anything fragile or flammable (textile, electronics,
wood, paper wall, glass, chalk…). Should be separated at least 150 mm of the sides, 200 mm
the floor and 1000 mm from the front and side of lateral opening (according to LD-LI). We must
take special care in those fireplaces with wooden shelves or similar: we must prevent and avoid
the possibility of hot air that expels the device falls directly on the wood. In these cases,
flammable items should be properly insulated.
1.9.
Ventilation.
1.9.1.Fireplace room ventilation
. The fireplace must be provided with an air outlet or inlet of
about 225 cm2 (square centimetres)
(7-8).
Furthermore, the air from the fireplace must be re-
conducted, at least, either to its upper part or to another room beside no more than 3000 mm of
distance. These connections should be isolated with (A-1, EN 13501-1)
.
1.9.2.
Room Ventilation
(9)
.
An 80 mm diameter inlet for outer air must be taken into account
for the room where the apparatus will be located, so that
the smoke flow can’t be blocked.
Neither can other ventilation or heating apparatus work simultaneously: air conditioning, other
air outlet devices (bath, kitchen) or heat pumps. In all these cases, the air going out must be
balanced with the air coming in.
1.9.3.
Apparatus Ventilation
(10).
The fireplace comes with two base openings, so when the
apparatus is installed with the fan kit, the ventilation is ready. If case of natural convection, both
side covers should be opened (rectangular shape). To what air outlets concerns, it is convenient
to have, at least, four for this model, removing plates and screwing connections
(11-12).
1.10.
Fireplace Room.
It must be built with non-flammable material and should not be sitting on
top of the apparatus or any contact points (front frame). Neither flammable nor fragile material
can be contained inside (wood, paper wall, glass, chalk…). Before starting its building, it is
convenient to take off the framework in order to avoid possible damage during the process.
So, remove the 6 screws , 3 upper ones
(13)
and 3 lower ones
(14).
After doing so, these will be
freed and the case can be separated. Once the fireplace is built, put the framework back
adjusting panels
.
1.11
.
Heat-resistant panels assembly
. These panels are set into a box and they are black on
one side, without colouring on the other. In this way, the colour wanted can be chosen. Follow
the steps to collocate properly.
1.11.1.
Base panel
(15-16-17).
First the base panels must be collocated with the side pieces and
the central one afterwards,
which can be replaced by the grill or the ash box.
1.11.2.
Lateral panels
(18-19)
.
Follow put the heat-resistant panel each one with its own lateral
(depending was LD or LI).
