Brightness control
Your clock radio has two separate brightness settings so that you can
adapt the intensity of the display to suit the ambient room lighting when
the clock radio is in standby mode and when it is switched on.
1. To adjust the display brightness whilst your clock radio is in Standby,
press and release the
Menu/Info
button to cycle through the available
brightness settings, Off, Low, Medium or High.
When the clock radio is in standby mode, pressing a button will cause
the radio to switch to the normal brightness level for a few seconds.
This is so that even if the standby brightness level is set to off, it is
possible to see the time by quickly pressing a button.
2. Alternatively to adapt the display brightness with your clock radio
switched on and in the DAB or FM mode, press and hold the
Menu/
Info
button until the Advanced DAB or FM menu shows on the display
and then release the button.
3. Press
the
Tuning Up
or
Down
buttons
until
'System Setting'
appears
on the display. Press and release the
Select
button.
4. Press
the
Tuning Up
or
Down
buttons
until
'Brightness'
appears on
the display. Press and release the
Select
button.
5. Press
the
Tuning Up
or
Down
buttons
to choose the desired brightness
setting. The brightness can be set to Off, Low, Medium or High. Press
and release the
Select
button. The brightness level will change so
that you can see the effect of each setting.
