INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT read these instructions for use carefully so
as to familiarize yourself with the appliance before con-
necting it to its gas cartridges. Retain these instructions
for future reference.

This stove should only be used with Primus 220693,
220794, 220294 butane-propane mixture gas cartridges
with comply EN417. It may be hazardous to attempt to fit
other types of gas cartridges.
·
This stove is designed for use outdoors away from any
flammable materials. The stove must be used on a level,
stable, non-flammable surface. The appliance should be
protected from direct draughts but in a well-ventilated
place.
·
No modifications should be made to any part of this stove
and repairs and maintenance should only be carried out by
qualified persons.
·

CONNECTING TO A GAS CARTRIDGE
·
If the stove is fitted to a cartridge that is empty then read
“Removing Cartridge”.
·
This stove is fitted with sealing washers. Check that they
are present and in good condition before connecting to a
cartridge. Do not use if a seal is damaged or worn.
·
Do not use an appliance which is leaking, damaged, or
which does not operate properly.
·
Only change gas cartridges outdoors or in a well-ventilated
place away from naked flames, any other source of igniti
-
on, and other people.
·
Close control valve by turning knob.
·
In an upright position, carefully screw the gas cartridge
onto the stove taking care not to cross thread. Screw
down until the sealing washer meets the cartridge. Tighten
hand tight only.
·
Repeat these instructions to connect gas cartridge to
second burner.
·
If there is a smell of gas or you suspect a leak take the
appliance to a well-ventilated place outdoors away from
any sources of ignition. If you wish to check for leaks on
your appliance, do so outside. Do not try to detect leaks
using a flame, use soapy water.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Unfold the legs until they lock in their open position.
·
Holding a lit match near the burner whilst opening the con-
trol valve can also light the stove. For version which has
piezo ignition, hold and push the electronic igniter. Repeat
if necessary for second burner.
·
When burner is lit, turn the control knob clockwise to de-
crease the heat intensity or extinguish, and Anticlockwise
to increase. Do not open valve beyond point where maxi-
mum intensity is reached as this may cause unnecessary
flaring and waste gas.
·
Do not move the stove once lit as this may result in flaring.
A warm up period of about 1 minute is required.
·
The stove must be used on a stable horizontal surface.
Ensuring that the stove is secure.
·
Always operate the stove at least 60cm away from walls
and ceilings and never near flammable materials.
·
Be careful not to touch hot parts of this stove during and
after use. Handle with care. Keep children away from this
appliance.
·
Extinguish by turning control knob fully clockwise. Check
that the stove is fully extinguished before leaving unatten-
ded.
REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE
·
Check that the stove is off by turning control knobs fully
clockwise and checking that the stove has fully extinguished.
·
Only change gas cartridges outdoors or in a well-ventilated
place away from naked flames and any other source of
ignition.
·
Unscrew the cartridge from the stove anticlockwise and
refer to the section “connecting to a gas cartridge” for
refitting a new cartridge.
·
The cartridge may be disconnected even if some gas remains.
·
Check the contents of a cartridge by shaking and listening
for the liquid gas.
·
Dispose of as per instructions printed on the cartridge.
Now be removed by unscrewing with a spanner. Wash the
jet in petrol. Do not use metallic objects to clean the jet.
Reassemble the stove. Check for leaks after replacing the
jet using soapy water only.
