Cut out the two 10 mm dia holes at the
marked points on the top of the cabin. These
provide cooling air to the electric motor.
- Mask out the glazed area of the cabin
before applying the external painted
finish.
- Lightly sand the areas to be painted, and
sand the edges of the cabin smooth.
- When the paint is dry cut out the decals
and apply them to the cabin.
- Press the rubber grommets S5199 into the
5 mm dia holes and place the cabin on the
cabin holders.
Stage 11
11.1 Completing the main rotor blades
- Lightly sand the main rotor blades S5077
overall using 600-grit abrasive paper, and
paint both ends to prevent moisture
absorption.
- Cover the main rotor blades using the self-
adhesive film supplied (see sketches 1-9).
