Dumping
The macerator dump hose along with the grey and black tank gate valves are located under the first set of running boards on the drivers sider of
the coach. (Picture 52.1)
*Note – The macerator hose is approximately 1
½
“ in diameter. A 4” rubber adapter is included in your coaches accessory box. Place
this adapter on the hose end to fit the normal 4” hose dump locations.*
The macerator dump 12-Volt power button is located on the drivers seat base. (Picture 52.2)
*Note – 12-Volt battery disconnect must be in the
on position for macerator to operate.*
Pull out the macerator hose and place in dump facility. Open the flow valve on the hose neck to allow for the flow of tank contents. See open
position in picture 52.1.
Open the black tank gate valve and press and hold the macerator button to empty black tank
. * Note – Pouring water down coaches toilet
while pumping will assist in cleaning out any remaining sedaments in the toilet and black tank.*
After pumping contents of black tank, close the gate valve and open the grey tank gate valve. Press and hold the macerator button to empty the
contents of the grey tank.
* Note – Dumping the contents of the grey tank will assist in cleaning the macerator hose of any contents left
behind by the pumping of the black tank.*
* Note – If the macerator becomes clogged during pumping, release the macerator discharge pump button. Use the macerator override handle
to loosen the object. Turn the handle left and right as well as pull and push on handle to attempt to loosen the clogged object. (Picture 52.3)
