Battery information and safety
The battery will take approximately 16 hours to fully charge from a completely
discharged condition.
The light will operate for up to six hours from a fully charged condition after which the
light will automatically turn off to protect the battery and the electronics.
The light may be charged at any time. The time to fully charge will depend on how
much capacity remains in the battery.
If the battery is regularly discharged until the light automatically goes out the battery
capacity and overall battery life will be reduced. For maximum performance the battery
should be charged before it is fully depleted.
The battery can be stored for up to 12 months without use but we recommend that the
light is fully charged before long term storage and ideally every six months to ensure
maximum battery performance. If the light has not been used for an extended period
we recommend that it is charged before use.
Caution:
The battery is a high-energy source so ensure that the terminals are not
shorted by any conductive material.
Caution:
Do not expose to heat, flame or water.
