7.12 Initialisation run
The number of interconnected lifting columns is recorded during the initialisation run.
7.12.1 When must you perform an initialisation run?
An initialisation run must always be performed if
•
a lifting column is in operation for the first time
or
•
the number of interconnected control units has been changed
or
•
the lifting column has been reset to the factory settings
or
•
the lifting column prompts a run by means of E000
or
•
if an error is present (see error table, 7.19).
7.12.2 Performing an initialisation run
Any hand switch can perform the initialisation run.
•
Ensure that all lifting columns are interconnected and that the mains plug is
not
connected.
If you have pulled out the mains plug to perform an initialisation run, wait for at least 30 se-
conds before plugging it back in.
•
Keep the DOWN
key on the hand switch pressed.
•
Plug the mains plug in and wait for about 5 seconds.
Note: The software release (e.g. "
0217"
),the lift column type connected (e.g. "
-20-"
) and "
[In
d]" appears in the hand switch display
.
•
Release the DOWN
key.
•
Press the DOWN
key again and keep it pressed until all lifting columns have moved to the
lower end stop.
Note: When the lower end position is reached, "
[In U]" appears in the display.
•
Press the UP
key and keep it pressed until all lifting columns have moved to the upper end
position.
The initialisation run is complete. The lifting column is ready for operation.
Using the hand switch is described beginning on 7.7.
An initialisation run must be fully completed because the lifting columns will not move otherwise.
This is equally true if no initialisation run has been performed.
•
If no initialisation run is performed, do not press the DOWN key in the first 5 seconds after
connecting the mains plug!
An initialisation run on the lifting columns must take place before installing the lifting
columns. The lifting columns should not be interconnected mechanically at this time.
Other connections and mechanical factors which may damage the lifting columns
must not be present. There is a danger of breakage.
