OPEN THE BAG WITH THE SMALL BALLS IN IT
AND SNAP ONE INTO EVERY OTHER HOLE IN THE OUT-
SIDE SET OF HOLES IN THE DIFF GEAR. LUBE THEM WITH
SILICONE LUBE OR LIGHT OIL. ASSEMBLE THE DIFF BY IN-
STALLING ONE DRIVE RING ON THE AXLE, THE GEAR,
SECOND DRIVE RING AND ALUM. ADAPTOR, 5309 HUB,
THIN STEEL WASHER, BLUE THRUST BEARING, THICK
STEEL WASHER,(OR TWO THIN), CONE WASHER, AND
DIFF NUT. TIGHTEN THE NUT TO REMOVE SIDEPLAY, AND
ADJUST UNTIL YOU CAN HOLD BOTH HUBS AND THE
GEAR DOES NOT SLIP EASILY. INSTALL YOUR PINION
GEAR ON THE MOTOR SHAFT ALIGNED WITH THE DIFF
GEAR, SLIDE THE MOTOR BACK AND CAREFULLY MESH
THE GEARS, THEN TIGHTEN THE MOTOR SCREWS.
STEP 21
INSTALL YOUR SERVO
WITH SERVO SAVER ON THE FRONT
OF THE BATTERY TRAY WITH SERVO
TAPE SUPPLIED. TRY TO GET THE
OUTPUT ARM CLOSE TO THE CENTER
OF THE CAR.USE A TIE STRAP TO
MAKE SURE IT STAYS. INSTALL THE
WIRE LINKS AND ATTACH THEM
WITH COLLARS AND SET SCREWS
FROM THE HARDWARE BAG. AFTER
INSTALLING THE REST OF YOUR
RDAIO GEAR, MAKE SURE THAT THE
OUTPUT ARM IS STRAIGHT DOWN TO
ASSURE THAT THE STEERING IS
EQUAL IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.
FOR SEVERE CONDITIONS, ADD A
SECOND COLLAR ON EACH SIDE TO
KEEP THE LINKAGE MORE RIGID.
STEP 22
INSTALLYOUR RADIO RECEIVER AND ESC ON TOP OF THE BATTERY TRAY. MAKE SURE TO LEAVE
ROOM TO INSERT A TIE STRAP TO HOLD YOUR BATTERY PACK UNDER THE BATTERY TRAY AND SET WHERE
YOUR PLUGS FOR THE MOTOR, BATTERY AND RADIO GEAR WILL REACH. MAKE SURE TO USE SMALL TIE
STRAPS OR TWISTEMS TO KEEP ALL OF THE EXCESS WIRE LENGTHS OUT OF HARMS WAY. YOU SHOULD ALSO
USE SOME STICKY BACK VELCRO STRIPS ON THE BATTERY PACK AND THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BATTERY TRAY
TO KEEP IT FROM SLIDING AROUND.
