Licensing strategy

Preparation

Using the Licenses section of the Riverbed Support site is described in 

Chapter 6, “Licensing.” 

After the licenses have been activated on the Riverbed Support site, the license keys can be added to the NetExpress 
either automatically or manually. 

If only one appliance is being installed, or if all the appliances are to be licensed for the same features and capacities, 
the Support site handles this automatically. The appliances can automatically download their licenses without your 
needing to visit the Support site. 

Licensing is described in 

Chapter 6, “Licensing.”
