Installation Instructions
To avoid creating a possible strangulation hazard for children, the corded internal
window covering must be installed in such a way that a loose cord cannot form a
loop 220mm or longer at a height of less than 1600mm above floor level.
A cord guide may be installed lower than 1600mm above the floor level if the
cord is sufficiently secured or tensioned to prevent a loop 220mm or longer from
being formed.
If a cord guide is installed lower than 1600mm above floor level it must be
designed to prevent a child from being able to remove the cord.
If a cleat is used to secure the cord it must be at least 1600mm above floor level
because a child is capable of unwinding a cord from a cleat.
Measure window to ensure correct
size blind has been selected for
installation type (face or recess
mount).
Cord mechanism is located on
either the left or right side of the
blind.
Top Fix Mounting:
Pre drill holes on the
head rail 150mm in from each end, then
pre drill holes 500-800mm depending on
the width and the drop of the blind, the
wider the blind the bigger the space.
Measure the distance between
A
and
B
and evenly calculate the hole spacing.
Using the necessary screws, fix the blind
into the recess.
A cord cleat is included with this product & must be
installed to avoid any possible strangulation hazard to
children.
Secure cleat to wall or architrave at least 1600mm above
floor level with screws provided. Wind any excess cod
around cleat to minimise any hazards.

Face Fix Mounting:
Secure brackets to
wall or architrave using necessary
screws. Ensure brackets are straight &
level & will not interfere with any
mechanisms in the blind head rail.Once
brackets are secured, lift blind evenly &
place into brackets.
For larger size blinds, two person lift may
be required. Screw up through the
bracket onto the head rail.
