PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Sound is distorted or noisy on AM or
FM broadcasts.
•
Retune the AM or FM station.
•
Reposition the unit (for AM) or
telescopic antenna (for FM) to
get the best reception.
•
Replace the batteries, especially
if they have been in use for an
extended time.
No sound from AM or FM.
•
Increase volume.
•
Unplug any cables from the
headphone jack.
No sound and the “Power” LED is not
lit.
•
Increase volume to turn the unit
on.
•
Add or replace batteries.
Sound distorts at a high volume
setting.
•
Adjust the volume control to a
lower level.
