4.4 Mount the Water Heater to the Wall
4.4.1 Instructions for Indoor

Instructions:
1. Hold the wall mounting bracket up against the
wall and use a level to make sure the bracket
is even. Proper operation requires the water
heater to be level.

For installation flexibility, the top and bottom
brackets can be adjusted to set the water heater
distance from the wall.

2. Use four screws to secure the wall mounting
bracket to the wall (two screws on the far left
side and two screws on the far right side).
Use the appropriate screws for the wall
construction to secure the mounting bracket to
the wall between two studs.

3. Insert the top bracket into the wall mounting
bracket. Make sure the wall mounting bracket
is attached to the wall and can hold the weight
of the water heater before you fully let go.

The water heater must be installed in an
upright position. DO NOT install the water
heater upside down or on its side.
