Use the probe's auxiliary device to connect the probe head to the circuit under
test. For detailed information of the probes, please refer to
User Guide for
PVA7000 Series Active Probe.
After connecting the active probe, you can perform probe calibration and offset
voltage adjustment if necessary. For details, refer to descriptions about the active
probe in this series User Guide.

Function Inspection
1.
Press the front-panel
and a prompt message "Restore default settings?"
is displayed. Click or tap
OK
to restore the instrument to its factory default
settings.

Connect the ground alligator clip of the probe to the "Ground Terminal" as shown
in

Use the probe to connect the input terminal of CH1 and the "Compensation Signal
Output Terminal" of the probe, as shown in

Set the probe ratio based on the attenuation of the probe, and then click or tap
>
Auto
.
5.
Observe the waveform on the display. In normal condition, you should see a
square waveform similar to the waveform shown in the figure below.
