INSTALLATION
THE BURNER MUST BE INSTALLED IN CONFORMITY WITH LEGISLATION AND LOCAL STANDARDS.
3.1
WORKING POSITION
The burner is designed for operation in positions
1
and
2
only.
Installation
1
is the preferred option as it is the only one that enables maintenance to be performed as described
later on in this manual.
Operation is possible with installation option
2
though maintenance cannot be performed with the burner
connected to the boiler. Note that any other installation position is likely to hinder the unit’s proper operation.
Installations
3, 4
and
5
are prohibited as safety is compromised.
3.2
BOILER FIXING
To fit the burner to the boiler it is necessary to carry out the following:

Put on the flange (1) the screw and two nuts, (see fig. 3).
³
Widen, if necessary, the insulating gasket holes (4, fig. 4).
³
Fix the flange (1) to the boiler door (3) using screws (5) and
(if necessary)
the nuts (2)
interposing the
insulating gasket (4)
, (see fig. 2).
³
Open the boiler door, insert the flame tube (6) on the burner blast tube (7) and fix it with the nut (8).
ATTENTION: Boiler door must have a max. thickness of 180 mm, refractory linig included.

After installation ensure that burner is lightly inclined, (see fig. 5).
