Motors and Clutch
•
Unplug the machine power cord before starting any of the following procedures.
Tray Lift Motor (M2)
This procedure is common to the single paper feed unit and the double paper feed unit.
1.
Pull out the paper tray ( Paper Tray ).
2.
Remove the rear cover ( Rear Cover ).
3.
Remove the tray lift motor (M2) [A] ( x 3, x 1).
Transport Motor (M1)
This procedure is common to the single paper feed unit and the double paper feed unit.
1.
Pull out the paper tray ( Paper Tray ).
2.
Remove the rear cover ( Rear Cover ).
3.
Open the right door ( Vertical Transfer Roller (Driving Side) ).
4.
Remove the transport motor harness [A] ( x 10, x 1).
5.
Do the following:
1.
Remove the right door bracket [A] ( x 1).
