If you still cannot remove the mis-
fed paper, push the ADF unit
open lever and open the docu-
ment feeder. Then remove the
original.

Close the ADF unit until it locks
in position.

Do not mix different sizes of originals in the optional document feeder.

Clean the separation roller if it is dirty. (A dirty separation roller may slip and
cause original misfeeds.)

Remove staples or clips of originals. Fan originals that have had staples or
clips removed.
