V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for outdoor domestic use in private gardens.
- Depending on the attachment head that is used with this device it is only suitable for cutting grass,
hedges and branches within the limits of its characteristics. Any kind of usage that is not specified
in this manual is herewith prohibited. We assume no liability for personal injuries and material
damages which were caused by improper use.
- This tool may not be used to do other things outside of the described scope in this manual.
- Do not use the machine for unsuitable purposes (for ex. for cutting wood …)
- The tool is not intended for commercial, professional or industrial use (for ex.: in public parks…).
5.2- Operation
Before any operation:
-- always visually inspect that the product does not show signs of use or damage
-- check that the screws, bolts and nuts are well tightened.
Replace any used or damaged part, and tighten firmly the screws, bolts and nuts when needed.
Important - Before starting work
- Check the blades / nylon line / chain proper operation.
The blades of the hedge trimmer work in opposite direction and have two cutting sides to provide
greater cutting capacity and performance.
- Repeat several times the starting and stoppage of the machine to become familiar with it.
- Make trial work on small shrubs or hedges, branches … to become familiar with handling the
machine.
1. Ensure that tool is properly connected to power supply. Lay the extension cord behind you.
2. Wear appropriate protective equipment.
3. Clear working area off any objects likely to pose a hazard.
4. Inform persons to stay away from working area and machine while you are working.
5. Firmly hold tool with both hands, and always maintain a balanced and secure position.
6. Place blade / nylon line / chain above the cutting area. Do not make sudden movements.
7. Press on switches (A4) and (A3) to start operation.
8. Once work is finished, stop product by releasing the switch (A4).
Note: do not put down product until the cutting blade / nylon line / chain has completely stopped
moving.
Important – during operation
To prolong the life of your engine,
do NOT
use by pressing the switch with jolts. Start and stop the
engine by pressing and releasing the switch gradually.

(a) Cutting the limbs of Fallen Tree
First check to which side the limb is bent.
Then make the initial cut from the bent side and finish by sawing from
the opposite side.
WARNING
- Be alert to the springing back of a cut limb.
