4.5- Installing/removing the battery (Fig. 3)
•
To install the battery pack, completely insert the battery into the battery compartment.
•
The battery is properly installed when you hear a “click” sound.
•
To remove the battery pack, press down the locking hooks (on both sides), then pull out the
battery pack.
4.6- Switch On/Off
•
To start cutting, pull both trigger lock (6) and trigger (5) together, then the moving blade (2)
will be closed.
•
To restore the blade (2) to original open position, release both trigger lock (6) and trigger (5)
together.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
This machine is intended for domestic use in pruning branches and plants with a diameter up to
13mm. The tool is not intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
5.2- Operation
Before start prunning
•
Make sure the trigger lock works properly.
•
Make sure the blade is sharp and properly installed.
•
Make sure battery pack is sufficiently charged and properly installed.
After use
•
Clean the tool surface.
•
Remove the battery pack from the tool.
5.3- Tips
•
Never cut too close to the stem, so the wound can heal properly.
•
Recommended to make the cut about 8mm above a bud.
•
The cut should slope away from the bud, so any rainwater can run off.
•
Never push the prunner blade into ground or soil for any purpose.
•
Cut branches one by one.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the “OFF” position
and remove the battery pack.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning
•
Clean the machine with a stiff brush or a dry clean cloth. Do not use water or detergent for
cleaning.
•
Never immerse the machine in water or any liquids.
