will be completely extended. Same result will be attained depressing the open pushbutton
following elapsing of alarm time.
WIND ALARM MODE
The control panel is provided with an inlet port for wind speed monitoring through an
anemometer.
Such function helps preventing the awning being damaged by strong wind gusts: in such
instance the control unit gets in wind alarm mode, retracting the awning.
- During the alarm sequence, the led M1 indicates the alarm flashing. The alarm phase
lasts about 7 minutes.
- On elapsing of the 7 minutes cycle, in case the wind speed has decreased below the
alarm treshold, the awning is extended to the position attained before the alarm triggering
(automatic re-extension function). In case the wind speed still exceeds the alarm treshold,
the awning maintains the retracted position until ceasing of alarm condition.
- In case two-position change over switches are installed, set to open, on elapsing of 7
minutes the awning will be fully extended (in case the... are set close, the awning will not
be extended).
- It is possible to set the wind alarm treshold through the setting trimmer. Rotating the
cursor clockwise, a higher wind speed will be required to trigger the alarm.
- During the installation it is possible to remove the 7 minutes waiting time. To do so
shortly depress the LEARN pushbutton.
NOTE:
in case that the control unit is on the closing position and, through a manual
moving, the automation is brought to the opening position, an intervention of the sensor will
not command a closing of the automation, bacause the control unit is still under the closing
position.

NOTE:
IN CASE OF BLACK-OUT, ON THE FIRST WIND ALARM THE AWNING RETRACTS,
WITHOUT FURTHER RE-OPENING
- The mode of operation of the control unit wind alarm is controlled through
setting of DIP 2.
- Alarm mode prevails over any other mode of operation/control.
- To attain a proper extension of the awning following ceasing of alarm
condition, operate as follows:
- Fully close (reract) the awning through the pushbutton CHIUDI.
- Switch off the main supply to the control unit, wait about 5 seconds, then
switch the supply on.
SETTING OF TRAVEL STOPS AND OPERATION TIME
The extension and retraction stroke ends can be set by adjusting the travel end stops of the
motor.
The control unit is programmed with a 7 minutes maximum operating time, to provide a
safety stop of the motor in case of malfunction of the travel end stops.
CONNECTION OF SEVERAL CONTROL PANELS TO ONE AMEMOMETER
It’s possible to connect up to 6 control panels to one anemometer.
It’s reccomandable to use a shielded cable and to set the anemometer so that the cables
go to the shortest way to the control panels.
Follow the cabling diagram as underlined in the figure.
