4) Inspection of the direction of travel and power regulation
Note: invert V and W if the motor faces left (as seen from inside the device).
N.B.: in this case you need to press and hold the PROG button to operate. Operation is step by step so each press of the button stops-closes-stops-opens, etc.
The LEDs confirm whether configuration is correct, as described below.
a) Turn OFF DIP switches 1-2-3-4-5-6 and 8. DIP 7 - ON
b) Turn ON DIP switch 1 (the DL1 LED will flash quickly)
c) Set the “TORQUE” trimmer at minimum
d) Press the PROG button (the green LED marked DL7 switches on and the gate opens)
e) Gradually increase the “TORQUE” only if necessary (WARNING: excessive torque could be dangerous
for users)
g) After opening, the end travel is pressed by the cams and the motor stops.
h) Release the PROG button (The LED marked DL7 switches off).
i) Press and hold the PROG button again (the red LED marked DL6 switches on and the gates starts to
close).
j) The end travel stops the motor when the gate is fully closed.
k) Release the PROG button (DL6 switches off).
l) Turn OFF DIP switch 1 and move to step 3.
WARNING: Make sure the electric end travels act BEFORE the gate reaches the mechanical pads of
the end travel. This ensures safe operation.
5) Programming the work and pause time before automatic closure.
IMPORTANT: The LEDs marked DL3 and DL4 must be switched on. A LED that does not switch on means there is a faulty safety device or that there is no connection. The gate will be locked in
place.
a) Turn ON DIP switch 2 (the LED marked DL1 will flash slowly)
b) Briefly press the PROG button (the gate opens until it meets the electrical end travel for opening). Wait for two seconds, and then press the PROG button again to set
the operating time for the gate. Once the gate has fully opened, the board counts down the time before automatic closure can begin.
NB. Automatic closure needs to be taught in even if this function is not enabled (DIP 3 switched off).
c) Wait for the required amount of time before pressing the PROG button to register the waiting time. Close the gate.
d) The gate is closed. DL1 has stopped flashing. The times are registered. Switch OFF DIP switch 2.
6) Programming of the MOON, MOON CLONE, SUN remote controls, the BLOCK Wi-Fi key selector switch and the SPARK Wi-Fi blinker
Check that the dual-colored DL7 LED on the MASTER Wi-Fi alternates red and green (empty memory)
1. Push and hold the PROG RX button on the MASTER Wi-Fi card for at least 3 seconds. Upon release, the dual-colored DL7 LED flashes red for 10 seconds.
2. At this time, pushing one of the buttons on the remote control will memorize the code.
Note: The MASTER Wi-Fi, in addition to the code, also records the button/channel to be used. Therefore pay attention to which remote control buttons are pushed during the code recording
process because it is these which will later activate the entire opening process.
If no code is given, after 10 seconds the red dual-colored DL7 LED of the MASTER Wi-Fi turns off indicating that the programming procedure has been exited. The dual-colored DL7 LED flashes
alternately red and green indicating that there is no code in the memory.
Correct code memorization is indicated by the dual-colored DL7 LED coming on green for 500 ms and a sound from the buzzer, indicating correct memorization.
After recording the last command, an additional 10 seconds is given for the next registration.
3. Now, insert the BLOCK Wi-Fi key selector switch and turn it clockwise in order to memorize the BLOCK Wi-Fi key selector.
Correct code memorization is indicated by the dual-colored DL7 LED coming on green for 500 ms and a sound from the buzzer, indicating correct memorization. After recording the BLOCK Wi-Fi
key selector, an additional 10 seconds is given for the next registration
4. Now, press the button S4 PROG TX on the SPARK Wi-Fi blinker card
Correct blinker code memorization is indicated by the dual-colored DL7 LED coming on green for 500 ms and a sound from the buzzer, indicating correct memorization.
To complete the code registration process let 10 seconds pass until the red flashing DL7 LED turns off.
Alternately, pushing the PROG RX button on the side of the MASTER Wi-Fi card will cause the red flashing DL7 LED to turn off, indicating completion of the memorization process.
