MAINTENANCE
Mower Lubrication
Before operating your Mower, make sure it is properly lubricated and thoroughly inspected. Only a minimum of
time and effort is required to regularly lubricate and maintain this machine to provide long life and trouble free
operation.
Do not let excess grease collect on or around parts, particularly when operating in sandy areas. The mower
illustration shows grease and gear lube locations. All grease fittings should be greased every 8 hours of
operation and the gearbox oil levels checked daily. Severe or unusual conditions may require more frequent
lubrication. Gearboxes are shipped with the proper amount of Multi-Purpose Gear Oil P/N 00786250. Maintain
the oil level at the check plug level (LOWER plug on the center section gearbox). LUBRICATE MOWER
BEFORE INITIAL USE. Lubricate all locations noted with grease gun (Figure Mnt-FL-0048) using N.L.G.I. #2
grease.
NOTE: Lubricate roller bearings until grease is seen coming out between roller and bearing housing.
