8.4.8 Presets
Note:
The function Presets should be distinguished from the Function Preset mentioned in
8.4.5 and 8.4.6
The function Preset allows the complete configuration of the transmitter to be stored and
loaded; this includes channel frequency, definition, video and audio inputs etc. A total of 4
Presets may be accessed, additionally a Default factory setting is provided.
8.5 Engineering Menu – MPEG2 mode
The engineering menu is entered by pressing the ‘CANCEL’ and ‘ENTER’ buttons
simultaneously for 2 to 10 seconds. When ‘ENGINEERING MENU’ appears, press the
‘ENTER’ button by itself to navigate the engineering menu headings.
8.5.1 Control Mode
The RMT-II has 3 possible control modes
•
Switches - selection of channel frequency and PA On/Off is selected from the push
button menu or via the two front-panel rocker switches
•
Keypad - Control is via the 6 push buttons in conjunction with the menu tree
•
Remote - Control is via RS232 / RS485 remote control
•

button then stores the value and returns to the Main menu.
8.5.2 Prog Channels
Each of the 10 preset frequency channels (mentioned in 8.4.1) can be independently re-
programmed as required by the user.

8.5.3 No video action
The action of the unit in the event of no video at the input can be set to:-

Power amplifier muted

Color bars
