The following steps must be taken before the hand-held nutrunner can be commissioned:
Right-angle

Commissioning
The hand-held nutrunner is configured using the NEXO-OS operating system. The NEXO-OS operating
system for the cordless Nexo Wi-Fi nutrunner is a web application. On delivery of the cordless Nexo Wi-
Fi nutrunner, it is pre-installed as an integral part of the nutrunner.
A description of the NEXO-OS operating system is included in the project planning manual (which can be
opened in the NEXO-OS).
Insert the battery; see page 246 figure 3
Press the red button on the battery to activate it.
Briefly press the start button on the hand-held nutrunner.
The LED working light is flashing.
Push the interface cover forward.
Insert the MicroUSB to Ethernet adapter NX-A into the interfaces provided; see page 248 figure 10.
Open the network connections on your PC and add a new LAN connection.
Click on "LAN Connections" and "Properties" and activate the "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/
IPv4)".
Click on "Properties" and enter address 192.168.1. plus any one- to three-digit number (without 10)
and confirm with OK.
Now open your web browser and enter the default IP address of the cordless Nexo Wi-Fi nutrunner
(192.168.1.10) in the command line.
CAUTION
Laser radiation – Laser class 2! Light emission in the visible range!
Looking directly into the radiation source of the barcode scanner (class 2 laser with low-energy diode)
may damage the eyes (retina).
Do not look directly into the laser beam.
Do not manipulate the laser source as this may result in an uncontrolled emission of hazardous
laser radiation.
Do not change the specified values as this may result in an uncontrolled emission of hazardous
laser radiation.
NOTE
Avoid using wrong components!
Damage to property!
Only operate the hand-held nutrunner in connection with the components intended for this
purpose!
