Disconnect the power cord from the 

outlet, and lock the cutting head in

the lower position using the hold-

down latch.

knees, not from your back.

Check that the power supply and outlet 

used is in accordance with your miter saw. 

Have a look at the rating plate of the motor 

or the rating on the miter saw. Any changes

USING AN EXTENSION LEAD 

The use of any extension lead will cause 

some loss of power. To keep this to a 

minimum and to prevent overheating and 

electrician to determine the minimum wire 

size of the extension lead. If the power cable 

is broken, repair service is available at your 

nearest service center.
