The loudspeakers are placed
correctly, if they form a triangle
with about equally long sides
with your preferred listening
seat. With that the sound
converter should radiate from
an acoustically hard, reflecting
environment into the more
attenuated portion of the
listening room. Please note that
acoustically hard walls with a
wide area on the side opposite
to the loudspeakers always may
cause unpleasant reflections.
Position the loudspeakers so
that the tweeters are located
approx. in ear height.
The set up of the speakers
immediately at the wall or in the
angle of the room mostly results
in a significant overemphasis of
the basses. This effect is
reinforced additionally in rooms
with light furnishing since this
hardly has any absorbent effect
on low frequencies.
The bass behavior can be
controlled by the distance of the
speakers to the walls.
According to the acoustic
actualities of your living room
very serious changes of the
bass volume can occur between
the two extreme values „larger
distance (slim bass)‘‘ and „in the
angle of the room (beefy bass)‘‘.
Therefore it is to be recom-
mended to determine the best
tonal balance by shifting the
Re:sound S center 02 inch by
inch.
The sound radiation shouldn‘t
be impeded by objects, that is,
visual contact should exist to
the speaker systems.

about setting of levels and delay
times of all Ioudspeakers from
your decoder operating-manual.
Check the settings to such an
extent, that a good sound
quality is ensured in all possible
listening positions. Except for
special effects the volume of the
surround channels shouldn‘t be
too intense.
Adapt the distance from the left
to the right front loudspeaker so
that the volume of sound
impression corresponds to the
screen size. Align the left and
right front loudspeaker so that a
harmonious surround sound is
ensured.
Tune the angle of the surround
loudspeakers so that good
results are achieved for different
sources like feature films and
music videos.
