Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing this Revolution appliance. Before using the appliance for the first time, please
read this manual carefully, paying particular attention to the safety regulations outlined below.

SAFETY RULES

• Remove all plastic wraps and wash parts in water
with a detergent. Dry at once.
• Use hot water to fill the container, it will reduce
the heating time. The empty food container should
not float on water, do not pour too much water.
• Place the appliance on a stable countertop, the
part with fuel containers must not touch the coun-
tertop (at least 1 cm distance).
• Keep the external surface of the appliance dry
and do not allow water to collect and drip under the
dish.
• Use only canned paste or gel fuel dedicated for
heating food. Never use methanol-based fuel. It is
poisonous and must not be sold or used in the EU.
• Remove the lid from the fuel can and place the
can in fuel container.
• Put the fuel container lid back on the can.
• Lighting the paste: place the container under the
chafing dish and light the paste. Ensure that the
container is fully open. Note: Many types of chaf-
ing dish paste burn with an almost invisible, blue
flame, which is difficult to see during the day.
• Never light the paste outside the container or
chafing dish.
• Do not move the burning paste or lift the fuel contain-
er using the lid handle. The handle may disconnect
from the lid and cause an accident, burns and fire.
• Place the lid on the chafing dish and wait at least
15-30 minutes before putting the dish with food in
the water container. When putting smaller dishes,
use adequate supports to avoid slipping of dishes
into water.
• A cooker or induction heater is an alternative
source of heating available as a separate Revolu-
tion appliance (only for selected models of chaf-
ing dishes - see model descriptions further in the
manual). Please ensure that the heating surface of
the cooker/induction heater does not protrude out-
side the chafing dish’s bottom.
• If using an induction cooker (only for selected

chafing dish models), strictly follow the cooker’s
instruction manual.
• If using an induction cooker, place the chafing
dish directly on the cooker hob. Ensure that the rear
support is stable on the unheated part of the cook-
er or worktop. Improper adjustment of the support
may cause the chafing dish to tip over while lifting
the lid and cause an accident or burns (only se-
lected chafing dish models). In case of any doubts
please please contact the seller or Revolution.
• If using an induction heater (only for selected
chafing dish models), strictly follow the heater’s
instruction manual.
• Induction heater is fitted into the chafing dish
base (selected models).
• When serving food remember to always close the
lid after each use to prevent heat loss and drying of
food. The lid is equipped with a mechanism that
allows free and smooth lowering.
• Tip: place a card with the name of dish and spoon
holder next to the chafing dish.
• The paste burns for a few hours (the exact burn-
ing time depends on paste type and flame size).
During heating water may boil which causes quick
evaporation and drying of the entire system. Please
remember this and regularly control the water lev-
el or flame size using the movable part of the paste
container lid.
• Never place the chafing dishes directly near to
flammable objects and ensure that the clothes of
food servers do not touch the burners (e.g. sleeves,
shawls or ties). Note: You are dealing with open fire
and/or hot cooker hob and /or hot induction heater.
Always ensure that proper precautions are in place
to prevent fire and accidents.
• Ensure that no food residues or water drops flow
to the burners or to the hot cooker hob and/or
induction heater. This may cause sudden flame
increase or splashes of hot water and result in fire
and burns.
