6. PREPARATION BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
Make sure no packaging debris remain on the
appliance.
• Check for completeness (1 storage drawer and 1
wooden spreader included) and any transport da-
mage. In case of damages or incomplete delivery,
please contact supplier (See ---> Warranty page).
• Keep the packaging for storing your appliance
when not in use for an extended period of time.
• Ensure there is enough clearance around the ap-
pliance. Place the appliance in a well-ventilated
area.
• Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical
wall outlet.
• The power indicator (2) will light up in green.
Switch ON the appliance by setting the tempe-
rature control (1) clockwise to 300°C for dry run-
ning without food for about 15 ~ 20 minutes. This
is to remove all residues during the manufactu-
ring process.
• Let the appliance cool down completely. Clean
it before using it for baking crepe. (See ==> Cle-
aning and Maintenance)
Note:
Due to the manufacturing residues, the ap-
pliance may emit slight odor in the first few cycles.
This is normal and does not indicate any defect or
hazard. Make sure the appliance is well ventilated.
Note:
You will need a wooden spreader (4) on hand
before starting to cook crepes, because you have
to handle quickly while baking to avoid overcooking
the batter.
7. OPERATION
• Clean the baking surface with a clean damp cloth
before each use & let dry afterwards.
• Connect the power plug with a suitable electrical
outlet. Power indicator (2) will light up in green to
show that it is connected to the electrical power
supply.
• Switch ON the appliance by turning the tempera-
ture control (1) in a clockwise direction to select
the required baking temperature.
• Wait for about 15 ~ 20 minutes to let the baking
plate heating up to about 250 ~ 300°C (Max).
• Then, pour a small amount of crepe batter onto
the baking plate with a spoon. Use a wooden
spreader (4) to spread it in circular movements.
Note:
Moisten the wood spreader before use. This
prevents the batter from sticking to the spreader
(4).
• Allow the crepe to cook on one side until its sur-
face is no longer liquid visibly. Use a wooden
spatula or heat-resistant plastic spatula (not
supplied) to lift one side of the crepe gently. The
