Installation of the Equipment II
Installation of the separator:
In their standard version, the separator devices RKM are designed and delivered as
rectangular boxes. They are packed at the factory and delivered on a pallet, depending on
their size. The devices can be transported in an upright position on the pallet with the help of
an elevator truck or a forklift or in hanging position using their suspension loops. If you desire
special installation options such as suspended mountings or mounting frames, please specify
them separately in your inquiry. Please note that the device is fitted with one-inch sockets at
the bottom for the connection of the siphon, i.e. make sure that the RKM device is set up in
such a manner that the drain line can be connected to the one-inch socket. Furthermore,
make sure that the position of the separator provides for easy access to the service side.
Mounting Position:

The position of the device
must be absolutely vertical.
It must not be installed in a
horizontal or inclined position.
ATTENTION:
When installing the device, make sure that the oil recirculation is fitted separately.

This means that the drainage openings may not be
connected to each other, i. e. not short-circuited!
Air ducts:
Please refer to our catalogue or the technical data on page 12 for the connecting dimensions
of the separators. Connections that differ from the standard dimensions should be specified
separately in your enquiry. Make sure under all circumstances that the connection of our
separators to the on-site duct system is oil proof, i. e. use oil- and acid-resistant sealant, for
example, to seal the connections.
