Please note the following safety notes when using the burner and handling with ethyl
alcohol.
Possible risk when using ethyl alcohol:
Extremely inflammable. Vapours may form with air an explosive mixture.
First-Aid Measures:
Remove contaminated clothing.
After Inhalation
Aerate well. Keep yourself and the casualty warm and calm. If breathing is difficult,
give oxygen. In case of breathing arrest or signs of breathing arrest, give artificial
respiration. Get medical attention.
After Skin Contact
Immediately wash off concerned body parts with plenty of water. Use skin care prod-
ucts to balance the degreasing effect of the substance. In case of blistering or persis-
tent skin irritation, consult a doctor.
After Eye Contact
After eye contact, rinse out with plenty of water for at least 15 min. Hold the eye lids
wide open (if necessary, remove contacts). Immediately consult an eye special-
ist/ophthalmic hospital.
After Ingestion
Rinse mouth with plenty of water. DO NOT induce vomiting. If breathing is difficult,
give oxygen. Get medical attention.
Bitter taste occurs from the denatured substance.
Fire-Fighting Measures:
Suitable Extinguishing Media
Alcohol-resistant foam; water spray; extinguishing powder; carbon dioxide
