3 SYSTEM STARTUP AND SHUTDOWN
3.1 Chapter Overview
This chapter includes detailed instructions on the following subjects (click the
emphasized hyperlink to be taken to the section):
System Startup Instructions: Consists of startup details.
Starting the 7k Control Center and Sonar : Consists of a description of the
options available for setting up the sonar system for operation.
System Shutdown Instructions : Consists of details on stopping the system.
Installing a License: Consists of details on installing a license file.

3.2 System Startup Instructions
After the SeaBat hardware has been installed (see Appendix B Installation Instructions ),
the system may be started. To do this, press the power buttons on both the
7125 processor and the color monitor.
NOTE
The 7125 processor power button will be red, when power is connected to the unit; it
will turn blue, when the system is turned on.
The processor will power up and boot directly into Windows. No user name or password
is required for standard systems.
NOTE
In the unlikely event that the system is hanging, press the power button on the
processor for 10 seconds to shut down the system.
