DIPSWITCH SW1 SETTINGS
(White is switch position)
SW1-1 Standard or Heat Pump HVAC System Type Selection
HVAC Systems are either Standard (Gas/Electric) or Heat Pump systems. Select correct system type.
Set SW1-1 to OFF (STD) for Gas/Electric types. (Default setting)
Set SW1-1 to ON (HP) for Heat Pump systems.
Note: This switch setting also changes the output of the “O” terminal on the HVAC SYSTEM terminal Block.
When set to the STD position, the “O” output becomes the “W2” or 2
nd
stage heat output. When set to the HP
position, the “O” output is the “O” or changeover valve output.
SW1-2 Gas or Electric System Fan Type Selection
Set SW1-2 to OFF (No fan w/heat calls) for Standard Gas furnaces. (Default setting)
Set SW1-2 to ON (Fan w/heat call) for Electric heat furnaces.
Note this switch setting is not used when HP system type is selected by SW1-1.
SW1-3 HP Changeover Valve Type Selection
For Heat Pump Systems Only. Not used when Standard systems type is selected by SW1-1
Set SW1-3 to OFF for Changeover with cooling. (Default)
Set SW1-4 to ON for Changeover with heating.
SW1-4 F/C Select
Not used on this version. This is now set from the Wall Display Unit Setup
menu.
