Persons and product
•
Never pour liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next
to the device. If liquid or a foreign object enters the interior of the device never
-
theless, first power down the respective power supply (e.g. switch off the circuit
breaker) and then pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and
take the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. This may cause condensation to form, which can destroy the product.
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it
into use. This may take several hours.
• Do not block any ventilation openings in the housing during operation.
Operation
•
Remove the housing cover. Unscrew the fixing screw with a suitable screwdriver.
• Remove the housing cover.
• You can now install a circuit board. Screw the Raspberry Pi
®
circuit board in the housing
using the four screws supplied.
• The fan requires two screws for mounting in the housing.
• Connect the connector plug of the fan to the power supply provided on the circuit board.
• Close the housing cover again and tighten the housing screw.
Care and cleaning
• This product does not require maintenance.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these
may damage the housing or stop the product from functioning properly.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. Dust can be removed from the ventilation
openings easily using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.

Intended use
The product is designed to be installed and attached to a suitable Raspberry Pi
®
circuit board
(see ‘Technical data’). A supplied fan is used to cool the integrated circuit board during ope-
ration. The fan is supplied with power via the corresponding connection on the circuit board.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the operating instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.
