c) Setting the alarm
You can set 3 different alarm times:
• A1: daily alarm
• A2: daily alarm
• TA: single alarm on a specific date at a specific time
The clock will return to display mode if no button is pushed in 20 seconds while
in setting mode.
Daily alarm
• Push the
ALARM SET
button to select one of the two alarms. The respective indicator (A1
or A2) appears at the right of the display.
• Push and hold the
ALARM SET
button for approx. 2 seconds. The hour indicator starts
flashing.
• Push the
UP
button to increase the value or the
DOWN
button to decrease the value. Push
and hold to fast-forward.
• Push the
ALARM SET
button to confirm the setting. The minute indicator starts flashing.
• Push the
UP
or
DOWN
button to set the minutes.
• Push the
ALARM SET
button to confirm the setting. The alarm has been set successfully.
Single alarm
• Repeatedly push the
ALARM SET
button until the indicator TA appears at the right of the
display.
• Push and hold the
ALARM SET
button for approx. 2 seconds. The year indicator starts
flashing.
• Push the
UP
button to increase the value or the
DOWN
button to decrease the value. Push
and hold to fast-forward.
• Push the
ALARM SET
button to confirm the setting. The month indicator starts flashing.
• Following the steps above to set the month, day, hours and minutes.
• Push the
ALARM SET
button to confirm the setting. The alarm has been set successfully.
d) Activating / deactivating the alarm function
Daily alarm
• Push the
ALARM SET
button to select one of the two alarms. The respective indicator (A1
or A2) appears at the right of the display.
• Use the
ALARM ON/OFF
button to set on the days when the alarm should go off.

Push 1 x: Monday to Friday only (indicator: M-F)

Push 2 x: Saturday and Sunday only (indicator: S-S)
-
Push 3 x: Daily (indicators: M-F and S-S)

Push 4 x : Alarm deactivated
Single alarm
• Repeatedly push the
ALARM SET
button until the indicator TA appears at the right of the
display.
• Push the
ALARM ON/OFF
button to activate the single alarm.
• The single alarm has been activated when the indicator TA is permanently visible at the
top middle of the display.
Turning off the alarm signal
When the alarm goes off, push
• the
SNOOZE
button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will go off again in 5 minutes
(max. 8 times). The indicator Zz flashes in the display.
• any button to turn off the signal.
The alarm signal sounds for max. 2 minutes. The frequency of the beep increases
the longer the alarm sounds.
e) Countdown function
• Push and hold the
C/F
button for approx. 2 seconds. The indicator TIMER appears at the
top of the display.
• Use the
UP
button to set the hours and the
DOWN
button to set the minutes. Push and
hold to fast-forward.
The maximum countdown time is 19 hours and 59 minutes.
• Push the
RCC
button to start, pause and continue the countdown.
• To set the countdown back to zero, first pause the countdown and then push the
ALARM ON/OFF
button or
UP
and
DOWN
simultaneously.
• An acoustic signal sounds when the countdown runs down. Push any button to turn off
the signal.
• To return to normal display mode, push and hold the
C/F
button for approx. 2 seconds.
f) Moon phase display
• One of 8 different moon phases is shown at the top right of the display.
• The respective moon phase is calculated using the calendar.
= New moon
= Full moon
g) Thermometer
• Briefly push the
C/F
button to switch between the temperature units °C (Celsius) and
°F (Fahrenheit).
• The indicator HH.H appears in the display if the room temperature exceeds the measuring
range.
• The indicator LL.L appears in the display if the room temperature deceeds the measuring
range.
h) Displaying the time in a different time zone
• In normal display mode, push the
TIME SET
button. The display now displays the time in
the previously set time zone. The indicator ZONE appears at the top of the display.
• Push the
TIME SET
button again to display the local time.
i) Week number display
Between the weekday indicator and the thermometer, the current week number is displayed
(indicator: KW).
j) 12/24 hour display
• Briefly push the
UP
button to switch between the display modes.
• In 12 hour display mode, AM or PM is displays to the left of the time.

AM: Midnight to 11:59
-
PM: Noon to 23:59
Maintenance and cleaning
• The product is maintenance-free except for potential battery replacement and occasional
cleaning.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
• Never submerge the product in water to clean it.
• To prevent scratch marks, do not apply too much force on the surface during cleaning.
• Use a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth to clean the housing. To remove tougher stains,
slightly dampen the cloth with lukewarm water. You may use a little soap or a mild
cleaning agent.

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately
from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate
that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy
metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on
(rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
