By purchasing this effect light, you have acquired a product designed to the state of the art and operation
-
ally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. Therefore, we would like to describe how to
eliminate possible errors here:
Always observe the safety information!
No function after the device has been connected to the power supply grid:
• The mains plug is not plugged into the socket correctly.
• The mains cable is not connected to the device mains connection (10) correctly.
• The mains socket is not supplied with current.
There is no reaction to DMX commands:
• The blackout mode is activated at the DMX controller.
• The DMX address is set wrongly.
• The connection between the DMX controller and the light effect is interrupted.
• The DMX line is too long or subject to interference. Use a special DMX high frequency line. Try placing
the DMX line away from the interference source.
• The polarity of the DMX connections to the DMX controller and light effects are different.
• If possible, try another DMX controller.
The music control does not work:
• Music control is not activated.
• Music playback volume is set too low. Try setting a higher volume or increasing the microphone sensitiv
-
ity settings with the SOUND SENSITIVITY (4) controller.
• Test the function of the installed microphone by tapping a finger on the housing in the area of the micro
-
phone (9). The sound-to-light control should react to these impulses.
No light effect, the display (3) shows "StbY":
• This is not a malfunction. The effect light is encoded as slave device and is waiting for commands from
the master device.
• If the display "StbY" appears in stand-alone operation, the effect light must be encoded as master device
(see "Master-Slave Mode").
