Deleting saved stations
• To delete a saved station, just save another station on its station button.
Mono-stereo switching
You may choose if you want to receive FM radio stations in stereo or mono. For weak stations, mono
reception is recommended, since this type of reception produces less noise.
• Push the button MENU (5).
• Select the TUNING (12) buttons to select "Audio setting".
• Push the button ENTER (11).
• Use the TUNING (12) buttons to select "Stereo allowed" or "Forced mono".
• Push the button ENTER (11) to confirm.
Calling information
• Push the INFO button (3) to call various information.
• For example, the following information is displayed:
Radio text > Programme type PTY > Frequency > Mono, Stereo > Time > Date
11. Handling
• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a
cold to a warm environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device
to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never plug in or unplug mains units when your hands are wet.
• Never disconnect mains units from the mains socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it out of
the mains socket holding it by the contact surfaces provided for this purpose.
• Unplug the mains unit from the mains socket if you do not use the device for some time.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains unit from the mains socket in case of an electrical storm.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time, particularly when using
headphones. This may damage your hearing.
