Operation
Do not reach into the input slot.
Do not insert any paper clips or other metallic objects into the input slot.
Persons with long hair must make sure to maintain sufficient distance from
the input slot.
Keep ties, scarfs, loose clothing and long necklaces or bracelets away from
the input slot.
Do not use any spray bottles/cans in the direct vicinity of the product.
The top of the product will become hot during use. Do not touch.
Do not use cardboard carrier sheets with this product. This may cause
jamming or damage to the product.
Only use suitable hot laminating pouches.
Never insert a pouch with the open edge first into the input slot.
Do not laminate heat-sensitive material such as thermal paper.
The items to be laminated should be completely dry in order to achieve a
satisfying result.
Do not cut lamination pouches to your desired size, as cutting edges could
cause a jam.
Be careful when removing hot laminated items from the output slot.
Make sure the power switch is in
O
position before you connect the power
plug to the mains outlet.
Never use the laminator continuously over an hour. Allow 15 seconds
between every lamination.
• Attach the exit tray to the back side of the product.
• Connect the power plug to a suitable mains outlet.

I
position. The
POWER
indicator lights up red, indicating
the product is switched on.
• It takes approx. 4 – 8 minutes for the product to heat up. Once it is fully heated up,
the
READY
indicator lights up green, indicating the product is ready for lamination.
• Choose a suitable pouch for the item to be laminated.
• Insert the item to be laminated into the pouch, alongside the sealed edge of the
pouch, leaving 3 – 5 mm space to the edges of the pouch.
• Insert the pouch into the input slot with the sealed edge first, until it engages with
the reels. Make sure the pouch is aligned with the markings on the input tray. The
pouch will move through the product and exit on the exit tray.
• Switch off the product after use and disconnect the power plug.
• Before you store the product (e.g. in a cabinet), let it cool down for approx.
10 – 15 minutes, until it has reached room temperature.
Troubleshooting
If the product can not be started, check the following points:
• Check if the power plug is connected to a suitable mains outlet.
• Check if the product is switched on.
• Check if there is a paper jam.
• It could also be possible, that the motor is overheated and the thermal cut-out
device has been tripped. Allow the product to cool down in such case and try it
again after 30 minutes.
Maintenance and cleaning
Before cleaning, disconnect the power plug from the mains outlet and let
the product cool down, until it has reached room temperature.
• Clean the reels periodically. To do so, fold an A4 paper sheet and insert into the input
slot, folded side first. Any residues on the reels will stick to the paper. Repeat this
process several times.
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never
open/dismantle the product.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not apply too much
pressure to the housing as this may cause scratch marks.
• You can easily remove dust using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of
the environment.
