Battery information
• Batteries should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk they may be swallowed by child-
ren or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into contact with the skin. You
should therefore wear suitable protective gloves.
• Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge standard, non-rechargeable batteries; there is a risk of explosion! Only rechar-
ge rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
Changing the battery
• If the watch stops, the battery needs to be replaced.
• Replacing the battery should be done by a specialist, using special clockmaker tools and profes-
sional knowledge.
• To replace the battery, remove the bottom of the casing.
• The battery can then be removed from its holder and be replaced.
Water-tightness and shock resistance
The wristwatch is protected against impacts that can occur with normal everyday use. Neverthe-
less, do not expose it to extreme shocks such as might occur if it falls onto a hard surface. This
could damage the clock mechanism.
The indication 3 ATM indicates that the watch is suitably protected against hand washing, washing
the car as well as splashes and sweat.
This is not a diver’s watch.
Maintenance and cleaning
To clean the watch, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. For heavier soiling of the exterior, you
can moisten the cloth slightly with lukewarm water.
Clean the watch very carefully; otherwise you may scratch it.
Do not press too heavily on the glass cover, as this can lead to breakage
