Copying a folder:
• Activate the operating mode from which you want to copy and stop playback, if it started automatically.
• Select the folder to be copied with the ALBUM/PRESET

button (19) or the ALBUM/PRESET

ton (20).
• Press the REC/DEL button (13). The data carrier is read and is ready after a few seconds. “REC” will first
appear in the display followed by “ONE” a few seconds later.
• Select “DIR” with the
TUNING/SKIP
button (23) and then press REC/DEL (13) again. Copying will
start after a few seconds.
• If a USB data carrier as well as an SD card is inserted when copying a CD, select the desired recording
medium while the corresponding symbols is flashing in the display using the
TUNING/SKIP
knob (23); then press the REC/DEL button (13) again. Copying will start after a few seconds.
• To stop copying early, press the
H
button (17) or the REC/DEL button (13).
• The display shows “END” when copying is complete.
Copying will start automatically if your press the REC/DEL button (13) during playback of a USB
data carrier or an SD card. An appropriate recording medium must be inserted into the respec-
tive other interface, of course.
Copying of MP3 files is not done in real-time but faster. Therefore, a sound cannot be heard dur-
ing copying.
The bit rate of the copied files corresponds to the bit rate of the original files.
Short delays may occur between the individual operating steps as the data carrier must be read
first. The reading time is dependent on the size and the response time of the data carrier. During
this time, “WAI” is shown in the display.
