12. Inserting or replacing the batteries
• Before you can use the remote control, you need to insert the batteries.
If you are already using the remote control and it no longer works, you need to re-
place the batteries.
• First open the battery lid on the rear of the remote control.
For this, push the lid away downwards in the direction of the arrow.
• If you want to replace the batteries, remove the old batteries first.
• Then insert 2 new AAA batteries in the battery compartment.
Always ensure correct polarity. How to insert the batteries is marked in the battery
compartment by illustrations.
• Last, close the battery compartment lid again. Push it up until it latches.
• This completes insertion or replacement of the batteries.
13. Maintenance and cleaning
Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a specialist or specialist workshop.
There are no components in the product that need to be serviced by you. Therefore,
never open the product (except for the procedures described in these operating in-
structions for insertion/replacing the batteries of the remote control).
A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning the outside.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, alcohol or other chemical solu-
tions that would damage the casing (discolouration).
