• The mains socket at which the LED outdoor spotlight is connected must be
easily accessible.
• The design of the lighting unit of the LED outdoor spotlight complies with
IP65 standards. The LED outdoor spotlight may be installed and used in
outdoor areas; however, it must never be installed and used on or in vehi-
cles.
• The LED outdoor spotlight must never be operated in or under water, as
this will destroy it. Furthermore, this could cause a lethal electric shock!
• The LED outdoor spotlight must not be installed and used in areas at risk of
flooding. The same applies to areas (e.g., low ground) in which rainwater
can gather.
• Do not use the LED outdoor spotlight in rooms or under adverse ambi-
ent conditions where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be
present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not attach any items (e.g., decorations) to the LED outdoor spotlight;
there is a risk of fire!
• Place the cable so that nobody can trip over it.
• Protect the mains cable from sharp edges.
• Never drive over or step on the mains cable.
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device
must be turned off and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not
used unintentionally. After this, arrange for an expert to check the prod-
uct.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage (e.g., a faulty mains cable)
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is flicker-
ing light, leaking smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises,
or discolouration of the product or to adjacent surfaces)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• A faulty power mains cable or mains plug may be replaced only by a spe-
cialist.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer’s Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operat-
ing Facilities are to be observed.

Installation and Connection
Please consult the chapter “Safety Instructions”!
• Using the ground spike, the LED outdoor spotlight can be placed in a suitable area
of the garden. Ensure that no cables or leads are damaged during this procedure!
To secure the ground spike in the ground, do not use any kind of tool; oth-
erwise, the ground spike or the LED outdoor spotlight could be damaged or
destroyed.
• Adjust the LED outdoor spotlight as desired (e.g., to illuminate parts of the building,
or similar).
Protect the LED outdoor spotlight from salt water (e.g., in winter), as this may
lead to corrosion.
• Place the cable so that nobody can trip over it. Protect the mains cable from sharp
edges. Never drive over or step on the mains cable.
• Plug the IP44 mains plug of the LED outdoor spotlight into a proper IP44 mains
socket. Place the cable pointing down and away from the mains socket; otherwise,
water may run along the cable towards the mains socket.
• After connecting the LED outdoor spotlight to the mains socket, the light of the LED
outdoor spotlight will come on.
If the mains socket you are using can be turned on/off via a power switch,
turn on the mains voltage for the mains socket.

Intended use
The product is intended to provide outdoor lighting. Using the enclosed ground spike,
the LED outdoor spotlight can be placed, for instance, in the garden or next to a road.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may
be modified or converted.

This symbol indicates specific risks associated with handling, function and
use.
The “arrow” symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The LED outdoor spotlight cannot be dimmed.

Read the complete operating manual carefully before using the product, as
it contains important information about the proper installation and opera-
tion.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any re-
sulting damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions. The warranty will be void in such cases!
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not al-
lowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children.
There is a risk of a fatal electric shock.
• The LED outdoor spotlight may be operated only on the mains voltage (see
section “Technical Data”). Never try to operate the LED outdoor spotlight
with a different voltage, as this may destroy it.
• The LED outdoor spotlight is designed to comply with protection class I;
connection is via an IP44 European earthed power plug.
A suitable power socket complying with IP44 must be used for connec-
tion in outdoor areas. The mains supply line to this power socket must be
protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker.
Extension cables must also be suitable for use in outdoor areas, if ap-
plicable. Make sure that the plug connection is never in or under water,
e.g., in puddles or in areas where water might accumulate during rain or
flooding!
