ank you for choosing this Xenon made DSM2 Auto Bind Rx.
The RCS

receivers are compatible with all DSM2/DSMX transmitters.
This Rx works best with 4 x rechargeable AA cells (4.8 volts) nominal supply. Up to 6 volts nominal.

INDING
N.B. The battery pack should be connected to the designated Batt - Bind terminal.
1) Tx must be OFF. Then provide power to the Rx unit. After 8 seconds Rx LED flashes quickly.
2) Ensure distance separation of 1 - 2 metres from receiver. Other Tx’s & Rx’s should be OFF.
3) Then press & hold Bind button & turn the Tx ON. Rx LED’s will go out. Tx will flash slowly.
4) After 10 seconds the Rx will come back on for two flashes & then after 5 seconds go solid on .
5) Solid Rx LED light ON means binding is completed.
6) Turn Rx OFF then
Back ON
again.
FAILSAFE HAS BEEN DISABLED.
RECEPTION.
It is only the last 31 mm of the 20 cm antenna that actually receives the incoming
signal. For maximum range in metal loco it may need to be placed outside the loco.
OPERATION
. Mount the Rx so that operation of the bright LED can be observed when binding etc.
Unless Auto Binding, always switch Tx on first, then the Rx.
When operation has finished switch the Loco OFF first, then the Rx.
Ch # 1 SERVO REVERSED
. Ch # 1 servos will rotate CW. That is backwards to most steam valves
which rotate CCW to open & control Steam admission to the cylinders. If you must have it CW on
the TX, use a servo reverser.

You could operate prototypically and rotate the Tx handpiece knob CCW.
SERVO REVERSERS
. If a servo reverser is required for any Channel be certain you match the
Servo Reverser max voltage to the battery pack you are using. See page # 6
