3. Remove the two screws from the inner housing.
4. Gently pry off the side panel and remove it.
5. Gently pry off the back panel (with switch) and remove it.
6. Gently pull the inner housing straight up and away to remove the inner housing shell.
7. Remove the two screws from the inner structure located on each side of the unit.
8. Remove the motor assembly and motor bracket.
9. Gently pull the circuit board and battery up out of the clipper.
10. Cut the red and black wires which lead to the battery.

The battery is to be disposed of safely.
