CAUTION
Maximum discharge temperature is 160° F. If temperature rises to 155°
F open the air pressure bleed valve and reduce the air blower discharge
pressure.
7) When return header vacuum assist is used, close the vacuum vent gate valve to
achieve the desired return header setting. Monitor the user provided instrument
while making adjustments to the desired setting.
WARNING
If return header vacuum assist is utilized, mist venting may become
restricted if the blower operation ceases. Manual bypass and venting
configurations should be devised by the user for emergency use if mist
venting becomes inadequate when blower operation stops.
8) If the reclaimed oil is to be re-supplied to the Oil Mist Generator having an
automatic bulk fill feature, turn on the air supply to the oil pump and adjust the air
pressure regulator to read 40 - 55 PSIG. If the reclaimed oil is to be disposed,
manually turn on and adjust the air supply each time the reservoir is to be emptied.
9) Once the Unit is in operation and stable, no further adjustments are necessary.
Operation:
Once commissioned, the daily operation of the DXT requires no additional
adjustment. Except for systems operating with vacuum assist, the DXT reservoir is
designed to provide unrestricted venting should the blower cease operation.

Trouble Shooting
1.Normal operation is indicated with the air blower discharge temperature at less
than 160° F and no visible mist escaping from the air vent located through the oil
filter end cap.
2. If discharge temperature increases above 155 - 160° F, readjust the discharge
pressure bypass valve to lower the discharge pressure. Decrease discharge
pressure incrementally and allow the temperature to decrease and stabilize. If
temperature cannot be lowered without creating a visible mist emission, the filter
element has become loaded with particulate and must be changed. Filter elements
in units using vacuum assist may become loaded with particulate at intervals sooner
that the recommended filter replacement interval.
3. If over a period of use, small amounts of oil mist become visible in the air exhaust,
close the discharge pressure bypass valve. Monitor the discharge pressure to
insure that the discharge temperature does not exceed 155 to 160° F.
