Troubleshooting
Device cannot be switched on.
a. Check fuse of the building.
b.
Check device’s fuse.
Device’s fuse has blown.
→
Press in
device’s fuse (12) offering
overcurrent protection.
Safety valve (10) opens or water leaks out.
ATTENTION: Do not remove cover (if
used) and do not close opening.
Call
customer services.
Tank is overfilled
→
drain off some water.
Tank cap (6) can hardly be opened.
Ventilate tank by activating dry steam
switch (18).
Tank cap (6) untight.
→
Replace cap or seal.
No steam.
Device might be calcified or the valve
blocked
→
Decalcify or use distilled water.
No steam pressure (Lamp of the heating
switch (5) goes out.)
a. Water supply disturbed
→
Open water
tap. Check DELIMER if used (directly
connect TRONADA to water supply line
and check again function).
b. Temperature limiter (11) has released.
Unlock after pressing button at the back
of the device after cooling.
Pistol drops.
Device might be calcified or the valve
blocked
→
Decalcify device.
Electric shocks when using the steam gun
Touch the contact screw (15) on the
steam gun while steam cleaning (see
chapter 2.2 Specific Safety Notes).
High wear of seals.
→
Prior to heating up ventilate tank by
activating steam gun switch „dry
steam“(18).
Pump is producing noise when filling the
device.
The TRONADA is equipped with an
automatic pump, producing some noise on
filling (dependent on water pressure).
Functionality will not be affected.
Short circuit
Water in housing: shut down the device and
call customer service.
Attention: Water temperature might be up
to 160°C
– Danger of scalding!
