INTRODUCTION
The head ring 10-333 is intended to stabilize the head of the patient during the most common
operations in the head area. The head ring is made from molded antistatic polyurethane which has very
good friction against the plate of the head rest. If the operating table or the head rest shall be angled
more than 15°, an anti slip cloth shall be placed under the head ring to avoid it from sliding.

This manual is for clinical personnel, service personnel and others who need the knowledge about and
understanding of how the head ring works and how it can be used.

INSTALLATION
Check at the unpacking that there are no damages to the equipment. Also check the content in the box
against the delivery bill. The package consists of cardboard and plastic and can be recycled according
to local regulations.
IMPORTANT SECURITY DIRECTIONS
The responsible personnel must be sure of that the head ring is safety put on the plate of the head rest.
If the operating table or the head rest is set into extreme angels, an anti slip cloth shall be put between
the head ring and the plate of the head rest.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The head ring shall be put with the flat side against the plate of the head rest. If necessary, an anti slip
cloth shall be put under the head ring. A sterile cloth shall be put on top of the head ring. The patient
shall be positioned “face up” with the head of the patient in the head ring.
