Instructions for use
The shower and toilet chair can be used for sitting under the shower, for sitting when needed and as a
means of transport, for example from the bed to the shower.
Without bucket and after removing the covering, the shower and toilet chair can also be positioned
directly above a toilet bowl. As the seat height is of 48.5 – 56 cm, the toilet bowl should not be higher
than 45 cm.
Cleaning
Clean the shower and toilet stool regularly with a mild soap solution and clean water. Use a soft cloth for
drying. Do not use any abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents. The removable seat can be washed off
under running water and can then be disinfected. The toilet pan should be treated in exactly the same
way after every use. Use a commercially available disinfectant to disinfect the shower and toilet stool. Do
not use high-pressure or steam cleaners for cleaning!
If they are dirty, clean the wheels using a soft brush or a cloth and a mild soap solution and afterwards
dry them using a cloth.
Repeated use
The Atlantic shower and toilet chair is designed for daily use. It can be used by several people. Before the
shower and toilet chair is used by another person or is transferred to the ownership of another person, it
should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent the transmission of germs (contamination). For
this, the procedure described in the point
Cleaning
should be followed and a standard household
disinfectant should be used.
Storage
Good ventilation must be ensured during use in the bathroom in order to avoid the building up of
deposits. The shower and toilet stool must be dried after use. Before storing the shower and toilet stool
it must be completely dry. Subsequently store it in a dry location protected against light in the polybag
and cardboard box supplied.
Contraindications
The use of the shower and toilet stool is not suitable in the event of joint contractures, severe
occurrences of paralysis, severe balance or visual disorders or severe pains in the trunk or in the upper
